Reporting A Claim
Is this Claim Covered?
If you have a loss and need coverage information to help you decide whether or not you would like to file a claim, you can submit an inquiry via our Customer Service Center (CSC) or by calling our Claims Department at (800) 927-2142.
A Claim Representative will review your policy with you and give you coverage information so that you can then decide whether or not you want to go forward with filing a claim.
Before You File a Claim
When you are reporting a claim, be sure to have your policy number. You will want to have a pen and paper so that you can note your claim number and other important information. If you are reporting a theft or vandalism loss, and you have a copy of your police report, have that available as well.
Filing a Claim Report
After a loss occurs, you may report a claim via our on-line Customer Service Center (CSC) by selecting the option "Claims Request Options - Reporting a New Claim" and following the page instructions.
To report a claim by phone, call our Claims Department at 800-927-2142 for assistance.
If you need emergency services, such as water extraction after a pipe break in your home, please advise us right away so that we may assist you in getting the services you need.
If you have a claims emergency after hours, such as a fire or large water loss, please call our 24-hour Emergency Claims Line at (866) 926-2142.
After Filing a Claim Report
Once your claim is reported to us, an adjuster will be assigned and will contact you within one business day. Your adjuster will explain the claim process to you. In addition, you may check the claim status via our on-line Customer Service Center (CSC).
