To be eligible for a California Seasonal Insurance policy, we typically require that our customers have a Homeowners’ Insurance policy with us. This requirement can be avoided if you’re able to extend liability to the seasonal home through an existing homeowners’ insurance policy. In rare cases where the customer’s primary residence is outside the United States, we will allow customers a standalone Seasonal Insurance policy.
Western Mutual offers Seasonal Insurance policies to existing customers who wish to cover their vacation homes with the same affordable protection they rely on for their primary residences. Our Seasonal and primary Homeowners’ Insurance coverages and quote information are very similar, so please read more about our homeowners’ policy here for more information about the type of coverage you’d expect with your seasonal home.
Our seasonal coverage includes the following benefits:
Similar to our Homeowners’ Insurance, we determine the base dwelling amount through:
Age of the Home
Size of the Home
Location of the Home
Using public county records, we’re able to determine information about the residence. If you notice a change in the property information from the last county update, please give us a call at 1-877-968-8825 to readjust the quote. We offer Seasonal Insurance quotes both online here and over the phone.
